WLCGA Seniors v WLCGA 2nd Team held at Leamington and County Golf Club on 29th March 2025.
On a breezy sunny Saturday afternoon at Leamington and County the WLCGA 2nd team took on the WLCGA Seniors for their annual friendly match. Lady President, Sue Timberlake was present to start all the matches off from the first tee
2nd team Captain, Deb Nicholls fielded a strong side with a mixture of experienced players and youngsters and the matches were all close resulting in a 3 1/2 to 2 1/2 victory in favour of the 2nd team
Everyone seemed to enjoy their games and there was a real buzz of conversation between the teams fduring and after the match meal
It was great to see the youngsters playing and striking the ball so well and hopefully feeding through into the first team in the near future
Here’s to a successful golfing season for all Warwickshire Teams.
