With the sun shining through and the temperature reaching 23 degrees, the battle for a place in the final got underway. Gay Hill was in great condition after all of the recent rain, and was a good test for all.....
With 5 matches in and 3 points to Warwickshire and 2 to Worcestershire, it was all down to Abi MORTIMER-LANE on the 18th. Pheobe holed her putt of 6 feet, Abi's putt fell inches short, only to be given it, resulting in a half for the match and an eventual win for Warwickshire in the Scratch League match (matches 1-6).
Congratulations to Molly GILES-BROWN on receiving her colours.
Warwickshire won the Handicap League match (matches 7-9) 3 - 0 and the Experience match was halved.
Many thanks to both County Presidents - Elizabeth Earnshaw and Maryann Hayes and also Worcestershire County Captain, Yvonne Foley for attending the event - it was much appreciated by the girls.
We wish the girls the very best for the final to be held in September.
