Another 4bbb scratch match, they come thick and fast!
Our first match to be played in the pouring rain, I had doubts whether we would be able to play the full 18 holes as one green started to flood. However, the sun came out and with all waterproofs off, game on.
Judith, the Derbyshire Captain was not playing, so she saw us all off on the first tee, next to our fabulous new WVLGA sail flag.
She also greeted us on the 10th and 17th
Burton is a lovely, challenging course, but long especially in the wet!
Derbyshire players were very friendly and the clubhouse was full of chatter and laughter.
We had a few changes to the team last minute, thank you to all that stepped in!
Unfortunately, we had a loss of 5/3
