WVLGA V NORTHAMPTONSHIRE AT COVENTRY GOLF CLUB 9th June 2022
A showery day at Coventry Golf Club. The Course was in good condition and our opposition all would like to play here again.
Claire Cordery Campbell played her first match for the Vets. Welcome!
WVLGA President Val, along with Northants President Sandra and Captain Lizzie saw us all off on the first tee.
Sweeties were provided at the 9th by Sandra and Lizzie.
It was always going to be a difficult match as Northants generally had lower handicaps than us but the home tried hard and everyone seemed to enjoy the course and the company .
Afternoon tea was provided by Coventry with lots of cake!
An enjoyable day had by all but… A loss for WVLGA 6/2
