Warwickshire Vets v Oxfordshire Vets @ Kirtlington Golf Club on Wednesday 30th June 2021
The first of our matches 'with shots' took us to Oxfordshire, where some of our higher handicappers had a chance to shine.
An interesting countryside course, filled with doglegs and herds of goats between the holes, and plenty of wildlife. Jane Tavinor from Oxon even had an eagle!
But it wasn't enough for them as Warks had another convincing win 5 1/2 : 2 1/2
We welcomed 2 new players Ita Curtis and Cecelia Chan from Edgbaston, and I presented colours to Pam Towsend and Marijke Rodrigo
