The match was played at Harborne Golf Club on 30th June 2019.
The match was played on a sunny and dry day. The course was in an immaculate condition with amazing quick greens which surprised some of us. Everyone at Harborne was really helpful and welcoming.
The team consisted of:

Jessica McGhee
Veronique Lintin
The 1st two foursomes, Veronique/Toni and Rahela/Jessica, lost respectively on 13th and 14th after fighting hard to stay in the game. The 3rd foursome, Hilary/Christina, were doing really well and were 3 up on the back nine but as the W&H team & parents gathered round this last match, the momentum went away from them. They eventually lost 2 and 1.
The afternoon singles were extremely difficult because of the handicap differences between the two teams but everyone did their very best and I am very proud of the Warkwickshire team.
The W&H team consisted of at least 4 junior players who had played in one or more County Weeks which meant a loss was inevitable.
