Appointment of new Warwickshire Men's County Secretary
Chris Brown – New WUGC Ltd County Secretary
Following the resignation of Malcolm Eustace, the Board of WUGC Ltd are pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Brown as Malcolm’s replacement. There will be a short handover between Malcolm and Chris with Chris fully taking over the reigns from 23rd September 2022.
Chris has been part of Team Warwickshire both man and boy. He won the County Under 14s Championship in 1990, beating a certain Steve Webster in the field that year! Chris went on to represent Warwickshire in boys and men’s teams. More latterly he was County 2nd Team Captain in the 2018/2019 seasons, narrowly missing out on winning the 2019 league by “goal difference” to Worcestershire. Chris was also part of the North Warwickshire team that narrowly lost to Ladbrook Park in this year’s Warwickshire Cup final.
Chris has worked all his life in various IT roles, but has always maintained a strong association with Warwickshire golf.
We look forward to working with Chris and wish him well in his new role.
