STRATFORD FOUR WIN VET'S AM/AM

1st - Stratford-0n-Avon Golf Club 3rd - Rugby Golf Club
4th  -  Olton Golf Club 5th  -  Robin Hood Golf Club

What a memorable day on Monday 22nd August!  At Robin Hood Golf Club some 160 players in 40 teams registered to play in the Warwickshire Vet's 2016 AM/AM.  This was a magnificent turnout for this event, one of the highest to date, with teams playing a Stableford format with 2 scores to count on each hole.

The welcome from members at Robin Hood was excellent with Lady Captain, Sheila ATTWOOD officiating on the first Tee for some time during the day, ably assisted by other members.  The course was very different from the previous fast running fairways and greens, due to the heavy rain over the weekend and the higher points scores on the day were due to the players who were able to adapt.

Due to the high entry into this competition there were six main prizes  presented plus Nearest the Pin and Longest Drives for both Silver and Bronze Divisions.  Prize winners are listed below:

1st  -  Skye FURNACE, Paula WINWOOD, Joy TRINDER, Vicky BARBER (Stratford-on-Avon)  -  76 points
