NORTHANTS PLAYER TAKES GOODYEAR CUP

51 players from Northants, Leicestershire and Warwickshire enjoyed a wonderful sunny day at Moor Hall Golf Club, playing for the Goodyear Challenge Cup.  As usual the course was presented in very good condition and proved a very good test of golf.  Some of the players commented that it was difficult to hold the ball on the greens and they proved difficult to read, however those who had not played the course before were looking forward to returning to play again.

At the presentation Mary Upson (Lady Captain of Moor Hall) welcomed everyone to the event  and presented the prizes.  Margaret Sheepy (Captain WLCGA)  Thanked Moor Hall Golf Club, especially the Ladies section, for all their support during the day and for bringing out the sunshine.  Everyone was welcomed with a smile and lots of encouragement. The greens staff were congratulated on the excellent condition of the course.
