Oxfordshire have fewer members from whom to select a team than Warwickshire so their Captain, Lorna Godwin, gave me the names and handicaps of her team so that I selected the Warwickshire team accordingly. This proved to be worthwhile as all the matches except one went to the wire – a tricky par 3 18th hole to finish. In the end the result of this 4 ball better ball match with shots (90%) was a draw but all the players enjoyed a great day on this rustic course in the Cotswolds.
