Match Report – Worcestershire and Herefordshire 1st Team
Despite being depleted due to injuries the team made a good start in holding the Worcestershire team who had tied with Staffordshire in the other leg of this triangular Trophy Tournament. However, the well-presented Redditch course with its devilish pin positions proved to be too much and sadly Warwickshire have won the wooden spoon in 2016.
Following reports, special mention should be made of Jane JONES, Sue WESTALL and Gill WINSTANLEY, who played outstandingly well.
Thus Staffordshire retain the Trophy for 2016.
