Staffordshire 2nd Team was the opposing Team for Warwickshire on Monday 23rd September with the venue being South Staffordshire Golf Club. Weather was very grey all day but quite warm and the course was in excellent condition. Friendships were renewed and competitive matches occured with the final result being a Halved match.
Excellent wins for Sue SHORTT & Lynne PEARSON, Stevie PARKER & Liz WOOLF, Gill WINSTANLEY & Jenny COOK and Lindsey BROOKS & Val CUSHING. A warm welcome was offered to Jenny COOK in this, her first match for the Vets and special thanks to Sue SHORTT for agreeing to play at the last minute, due to a cancellation.
