In the first of our Vets County matches, we played against Leicestershire 1 at Ladbrook Park GC on Monday 9th May. Weather was mostly good but we had some rain. Having fielded what was thought to be a strong team, this was proved right as the final result was 6 1/2 games to 1 1/2.
