WVLGA v Gloucestershire Vets - Monday 1st July 2018 - Shirley Golf Club
Gill, WVLGA’s captain, welcomed Megan, Gloucestershire’s Vice-Captain, President of WVLGA, Liz, and Captain of Shirley GC, Pam, and everyone else to Shirley Golf Club on a bright but slightly cloudy day. She thanked her team for playing, especially Judith who had agreed to play at short notice after an injury withdrawal. The course was in very good condition and had dried out after the recent rainfall.
Mary was welcomed to her first match for Warwickshire Vets. Colours were awarded to Hilary and Annette.
The result was a 7-1 win to Warwickshire including two halved games
